Financial Analyst – Alameda, CA

We are recruiting for a Financial Analyst to join our Division’s Global Finance organization in our Alameda, CA location. This position is a key value-add role within ADC’s Finance / FP&A organization by analyzing and forecasting Division-wide financial, economic, revenue, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions.


  • Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial information and economic indicators so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making strategic and operational decisions on, for example, acquisitions, investments, capital expenditure, divestitures, mergers, or the sale of assets.
  • Analyze the financial implications of proposed investments or other transactions so that senior managers can evaluate alternatives against the organization’s business objectives.
  • Evaluate industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization’s short, medium and long-term financial and competitive position.
  • Data analyzed may include revenues, expenses, costs, prices, investments, cash flow, profits, labor market trends, inflation, interest rates, and exchange rates.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in accounting or finance, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  • Some Knowledge of the principles, processes and standards for integrated financial analysis and reporting.  Some Ability to plan, implement, and administer financial information and control systems.  Some Ability to analyze and interpret data.  Some Understanding of financial accounting systems.

  • Proficient in Excel.


  • 0 – 2 years of work experience in Finance department.

  • Understanding of financial accounting systems, preferably SAP.

  • Worked in Finance for a public company preferred.
