Hello beautiful people! I am grateful to be a part of the National Black MBA Association®. Taking on the President’s role for a non-profit requires a ton of time commitment, which makes you realize that you are a part of a much bigger purpose and that time is precious.

Despite many challenges during this unprecedented time, our community continued to thrive. I acknowledge the strides our Chapter, affiliate Chapters, and National Association continued to make despite the global pandemic and the ongoing racism, discrimination, and inequality experienced by black people.

In 2021, I was able to get my feet wet in this new role, exploring the possibilities of what our Chapter could be in the next five years. Moving into 2022, I am even more dedicated to carrying out the mission and values of the NBMBAA® while focusing on my core priorities: People, Programming, and Partnerships.

Our Chapter seeks to develop mutually beneficial partnerships that support our members and partners with the positive social impact that NBMBAA® creates for our members and the Black community. We are focused on championing diversity and inclusion initiatives with corporate partners, creating a pipeline of diverse talent for our partners, and offering new, exciting resources and opportunities for our members while increasing the reach and impact of the NBMBAA®.

We appreciate your support of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter National Black MBA Associations as members, academic and corporate partners, and supporters.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch with me at (510) 398-9921 or President@sfnbmbaa.org.

Sincerely,

Myisha Robertson
